Overall Functions
This person plays a key role in identifying learning needs, designing engaging learning experiences, and measuring the effectiveness of learning programs. This role will foster a culture of continuous learning and growth through management and facilitation of new employee onboarding courses. Implement learning solutions that develop the skills and competencies needed for ongoing talent development that will support changing business needs and align with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

This person should have a bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or the equivalent.  A passion for learning with a strong background in adult learning, facilitation, and talent development is required. Experience managing multiple learning and talent development projects is preferred. An engaging facilitation style, creativity, collaboration, and above average communication is essential. Proficiency with a Learning Management System (LMS) is strongly preferred.

Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the year to locations within our footprint.  Majority of this travel will be day trips.



Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary architect and facilitator for new employee onboarding courses. Facilitate onboarding courses on a continual basis to integrate new employees to FB&T’s culture. Effectively communicate the vision, mission, and culture to all internal staff.


  1. Impact strategic initiatives by creating and facilitating targeted team building efforts and professional development workshops utilizing adult learning principles. Implement engaging training opportunities to ensure staff are equipped with skills and knowledge needed.


  1. Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels of the organization, both in-person and virtually. Interact successfully with a wide range of participants.


  1. Execute the complete learning cycle, including needs assessment, training development, facilitation, and measuring impact.


  1. Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop learning objectives that align with business goals.


  1. Serve as a project team member and facilitate organizational projects as needed. This could include system, process, or product training.


  1. Manage the administration of learning opportunities, including scheduling, enrollment, and tracking of participant progress.


  1. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.


  1. Support and champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Strategize and implement specific DE&I training initiatives.


  1. Partner with the talent team and maintain working knowledge of integrated talent management, strategic workforce planning, and employee engagement efforts.


  1. Keep abreast of the latest trends in learning & development and banking. Be an innovator in support of engagement, growth, and retention.


  1. Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.


  1. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
