Overall Functions

This person is responsible for assisting with collaboration across the bank to ensure that individual and business customers receive sustained value from their interactions with the bank’s products and platforms.



This person should be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree. Some knowledge of the financial services industry and familiarity with digital technologies is encouraged. This person should have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who is self-motivated with an eagerness to learn.

This role requires employment to be on-site.

  1. Assist the Individual and Business Product Managers with projects in support of strategic initiatives set by business banking, consumer banking, wealth management and other lines of business.

  2. Perform industry research related to new and existing banking products and services as well as complete data analysis on current and potential customers to identify specific metrics and trends.

  3. Collaborate with the product team to synthesize research and analysis and participate in brainstorm sessions about new or improved features or products.

  4. Gain knowledge of banking products and services, including digital banking and wealth management platforms, cash management, payments, account opening, debit & credit cards, etc. and how they intersect with customer needs.

  5. Build skills related to professionalism, research, data analysis, decision-making, customer service, and communication.

  6. Attend all meetings as necessary to assist with research and analysis as it relates to assigned projects. Develop and maintain effective working relationships throughout First Bank & Trust.

  7. Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in employee handbook.

  8. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
