Overall Functions
This person shall be responsible for maintaining efficient and successful operations of all branch staff and activities in branch with a $100 million or more in retail deposits; In addition to developing new and managing existing deposit and loan accounts which will provide profitability to the Bank with minimum risk.

Qualifications
This person should have a bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of seven years of advanced experience in bank lending or the equivalent. Emphasis is placed on suitable communication skills as well as aptitude for detail. An agriculture and supervisory background is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
1. Lead the team and develop an atmosphere of teamwork, open communication and unity. Provide oversight of all services offered. Actively mentor staff and ensure they are trained, evaluated, and motivated to perform their responsibilities in an effective and progressive manner.
 
2. Develop new business by contacting prospects and existing customers while making sound decisions and exhibiting good credit judgment. Be responsible for the Bank’s public relations and favorable image by being involved in the community.
 
3. Service and administer the assigned loan portfolio in accordance with the Loan Policies and Guidelines. Interview loan applicants, collect and analyze financial data to determine the feasibility of the prospect and the merits of the loan request.
 
4. Sell and cross-sell bank products and services: provide leadership, training and motivation to branch employees to promote their interest in selling and cross-selling bank products.
 
5. Manage the branch credit portfolio: perform annual collateral inspections to ensure adequate security coverage; on an on-going basis, consider the risk of each loan and assign a corresponding risk rating to the credit; ensure the complete collection of all loans extended by monitoring past-due reports and overdrawn accounts; and utilize legal collection efforts as outlined in the Loan Policy.
 
6. Responsible for annual performance reviews of all branch staff, including timely reports to Human Resources. 

7. Coordinate scheduling at the branch to maintain efficient operations and meeting required coverage on a daily basis.
 
8. Ensure appropriate building maintenance and security by working with the designated officer in order to maintain a safe and attractive environment for customers and employees.
 
9. Attend all meetings as deemed appropriate or directed by the supervisor to participate in decisions which affect bank functions.
 
10. Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
 
11. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
