First Bank & Trust Named a Community Bank Leader in Social Media

Monday, July 7th

The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) recently released its annual list of the Top 50 Community Bank Leaders in Social Media. This is the second year that ICBA has compiled the list, which highlights the community bank social media trailblazers among the financial industry.  It is also the second year that First Bank & Trust has been included on the list.

“These top community banks understand that building a brand goes beyond just a physical presence—they consistently introduce fresh content and interact with their customers,” said ICBA Executive Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer Chris Lorence. “ICBA is proud to highlight these community banks and bankers who are making social media an integral part of their brand and communications strategy. We congratulate them on their success.”

Nearly 6,500 community banks throughout the nation were eligible to be part of ICBA’s list. Community banks were chosen based on their engagement with fans and followers, the content distributed on their social media platforms, the number of fans and/or followers they have, and the frequency of posting new content.

“First Bank & Trust is pleased to be featured on ICBA’s Top 50 Community Bank Leaders in Social Media list,” said Jodi Siemers, Marketing Director, Fishback Financial Corporation. “It is an honor for us to be recognized for our efforts on social media because we see it as a unique channel for communicating with our customers and strengthening ties with both our customers and community.”
