First Bank & Trust Announces Position Appointments

The First Bank & Trust Board of Directors recently approved the corporate promotion of 27 First Bank & Trust employees at their annual organizational meeting.

  • Jennifer Hjeltman was elected Assistant Vice President. She is the Cash Management Sales Consultant Supervisor and has been serving the bank since 2018. 

  • Brad Jankord was elected Vice President. He is a Senior Commercial Banker and has been with the organization since 2024. 

  • Angela Joyce was elected Vice President. She is the Mortgage Operations Manager and has been with the bank since 2020. 

  • Travis Lester was elected Vice President. He is an Agri-Business Banker and has been dedicated to the organization since 2010. 

  • Angela Shaw was elected Vice President. She is the Cash Management and Business Payments Manager and has been with the organization since 2023. 

  • Michael Turnwall was elected Vice President. He is a Senior Commercial Banker and has been with the bank since 2021. 

  • Brittany Kreul was elected Vice President. She is the Contact Center Manager and has been serving the bank since 2013. 

  • Phil Podhradsky was elected Vice President. He is the Data Platform Manager and has been dedicated to the organization since 2007. 

  • Natalie Schmidt was elected Vice President. She is the Director of Compliance and has been serving the bank since 2016. 

  • Julie Tibke was elected Assistant Vice President. She is a Mortgage Loan Officer and has been with the bank since 2023. 

  • Marc Venekamp was elected Vice President. He is a Senior Wealth Management Officer and has been dedicated to the organization since 2011. 

  • Laura Wallace was elected Assistant Vice President. She is the Portfolio Manager/Business Banking Specialist Manager and has been serving the bank since 2023. 

  • Josh Warne was elected Vice President. He is the Data Engagement Manager and has been dedicated to the organization since 2013. 

  • Meridith Weiland was elected Assistant Vice President. She is a Business Banker and has been serving the bank since 2022. 

  • Tyler Bowen was elected Assistant Vice President. He is a Senior Wealth Advisor and has been with the bank since 2025. 

  • Eric Brockberg was elected Assistant Vice President. He is a Senior Financial Advisor and has been dedicated to the bank since 2010. 

  • Jamie Heetland was elected Assistant Vice President. She is the Director of Trust Operations and has been with the bank since 2025. 

  • Lance Howard was elected Assistant Vice President. He is a Senior Wealth Management Officer and has been serving the bank since 2022. 

  • Matt Johnson was elected Vice President. He is the Wealth Management Services Chief Investment Officer and has been with the organization since 2022. 

  • Mandy Kappenman was elected Vice President. She is the Director of Audit and has been dedicated to the organization since 2015. 

  • Barry Kelner was elected Assistant Vice President. He is a Senior Wealth Advisor and has been serving the bank since 2025. 

  • Tiffany Miller was elected Assistant Vice President. She is Deputy General Counsel and has been with the organization since 2024. 

  • Julie Ohlsen was elected Assistant Vice President. She is the bank’s Talent Manager and has been dedicated to the organization since 2016. 

  • Tessa Rolfsmeier was elected Assistant Vice President. She is an Agri-Business Banker and has been serving the bank since 2021. 

  • Nichole Russell was elected Assistant Vice President. She is the Business Product Manager and has been dedicated to the organization since 2010. 

  • Bryan Simmons was elected Assistant Vice President. He is the Director of Retirement Operations and has been with the bank since 2025. 

  • Nicole Yseth was elected Vice President. She is the Director of Retirement Plan Services and has been serving the bank since 2011.
