General. First Bank & Trust sends messages to customers on both a recurring (e.g., withdrawals over a specified amount, low balance alerts, or authorization of certain transactions) or a one-time basis (e.g., customer identity verification codes). All capitalized terms used herein without definition shall have the respective meaning assigned to such terms in the First Bank & Trust Digital Banking Agreement and the terms and conditions of such Agreement are incorporated herein.

We may revise, modify, or amend these terms and Conditions at any time. Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when posted on this webpage. You agree to review these terms periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes.

BANKeasy Alerts – Short Code 843155

  • Opt-In/Opt-Out. You can opt into reoccurring alerts (“BANKeasy Alerts”) through First Bank & Trust’s Short Code Service (“Service” or “Services”) in Alert preferences via First Bank & Trust’s Digital Banking platform. By opting in, you agree to these terms for the BANKeasy Alerts. To opt out of the Services at any time, You can text "STOP" to the short code (843155). After texting "STOP”, You will receive an SMS message from First Bank & Trust to confirm that You have been unsubscribed. After this, You will no longer receive BANKeasy Alerts from First Bank & Trust unless You choose to opt in again.
  • Help. If You need assistance, please text "HELP" to Short Code 843155; email First Bank & Trust at info@bankeasy.com or call 800.843.1552.
  • Carriers. Carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint, among others. Supported carriers may change from time to time.  If you have any questions about whether your carrier supports the Program, please contact your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered BANKeasy Alerts.
  • Rates. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to You from First Bank & Trust and to First Bank & Trust from You. BANKeasy Alerts will be sent at various times on any day that transactions meeting Your specified criteria occur. You understand and agree that BANKeasy Alerts may not be sent on a “real time” basis and may be sent at the next scheduled delivery time after the specified transaction event occurs. Message frequency varies. We reserve the right to change the frequency or timing of BANKeasy Alerts. If You have any questions about Your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact Your wireless provider.
  • Limitations of Alerts. BANKeasy Alerts are for informational purposes only and are not intended to replace Your Account statements or any other communications We may provide to You regarding Your Account(s). We do not guarantee either the delivery or the accuracy of the content of any BANKeasy Alerts. You agree that We will not be liable for (1) any delays, failure to deliver, or misdirected delivery of any BANKeasy Alerts; (2) any errors in the content of any BANKeasy Alerts; or (3) any actions taken or not taken by You or any third party in reliance on any BANKeasy Alerts. All BANKeasy Alerts are provided as a courtesy to You.
  • Delivery: We do not guarantee that you will receive any BANKeasy Alerts. Circumstances beyond our control, including network issues, may result in you not receiving our BANKeasy Alerts. Neither your carrier nor First Bank & Trust are liable for delayed or undelivered BANKeasy Alerts.
  • Eligibility: BANKeasy Alerts and other Services are intended for use by U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age.

Contact Center Alert – One–Time SMS Verification Code

  • Contact Center Alert; Initiation. A Contact Center Alert is a one-time Short Messaging Service (“SMS”) verification code that is initiated by You and sent by First Bank & Trust’s Contact Center (“Contact Center”). The Contact Center utilizes such alerts to confirm Your identity prior to assisting You over the phone on various account-related requests. You will receive any Contact Center Alerts from a randomized 1-800 number. Due to the one-time nature of the Contact Center Alerts, no further action is needed from You to unenroll in such alerts.
