Keep Production Moving

Manufacturing businesses are built to keep moving. But even when sales are strong, cash flow can become tight when working capital is tied up in receivables.

First Bank & Trust Commercial Financing can help manufacturers turn eligible unpaid invoices into working capital, giving you more flexibility to keep production moving and plan for what’s next.

Strong Sales, Long Payment Terms, and Cash-Flow Timing

A large order, new customer relationship, or growth opportunity can quickly create pressure if materials, labor, and supplier costs come due before invoices are paid. First Bank & Trust Commercial Financing works with manufacturers that need flexible access to working capital to support payroll and staffing needs, inventory and raw material purchases, supplier payments, new orders and growth opportunities, seasonal or uneven cash-flow cycles, longer customer payment terms, and businesses that may not fit traditional commercial loan structures.

Whether your customers pay on net 30, 60, or 90-day terms, accounts receivable financing may help bridge the gap between completed work and collected payment by converting eligible invoices into immediate working capital.

Accounts Receivable Financing Can Help

Improve Cash Flow
Access funds tied to eligible receivables instead of waiting weeks or months for customer payments.

Support Payroll and Operations
Keep employees paid, production schedules on track, and day-to-day operations moving.

Fund Inventory and Materials
Use working capital to purchase materials, manage supplier obligations, and prepare for the next project or order.

Grow with Your Sales
Because funding is tied to eligible invoiced sales, accounts receivable financing can provide flexibility as your business grows.

Focus on the Business
With the right financing structure in place, your team can spend less time managing cash-flow pressure and more time focused on production, customers, and growth.

How It Works

1. You invoice your customer. Your business provides goods or services and issues an invoice with payment terms, often 30, 60, or 90 days.

2. You submit the eligible invoice to First Bank & Trust. Instead of waiting for the customer payment to arrive, you submit the invoice for review.

3. The invoice is verified. First Bank & Trust verifies the invoice and confirms eligibility.

4. Working capital is advanced. Once approved, a portion of the invoice value is advanced so you have cash available for payroll, inventory, suppliers, or day-to-day operating needs.

5. Payment is collected. First Bank & Trust manages the collection process with your customer.

6. The remaining balance is paid. Once the customer pays the invoice, the remaining balance is released to you, minus applicable service fees.

This process can help provide the cash flow needed to keep your business moving forward.
