Jason Long is the Director of Agri-Business Banking. He has over 11 years of industry experience, spending most of his career in agricultural banking and lending. In his role, Jason prioritizes building and maintaining relationships through exceptional customer service.
Jason received his bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University and attended the SDBA National School for Experienced Ag Lenders in Spearfish, South Dakota. Jason is devoted to serving his community and is currently an executive member for the South Dakota FFA Foundation, operating as their treasurer. He was most recently a member of the Brandon Development Foundation and has also volunteered at the Sioux Empire Livestock Show and for Ag Appreciation Day.
In his free time Jason enjoys all outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and SDSU Jackrabbits. Jason and his wife Kayla reside on their acreage just outside Garretson with their two daughters, Morgan and Rylee.


Mitch Gusso is an agri-business banker with First Bank & Trust in Garretson. In his role, he develops and maintains customer relationships to help clients better understand their financial position and needs, providing solutions that support profitability and growth.
Mitch brings five years of agricultural lending and credit experience to the bank, including three years as an ag lender and two years as an ag credit analyst. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agri-business from South Dakota State University, along with a minor in accounting.
Before joining the bank in January 2026, Mitch worked at The First National Bank in Sioux Falls as an ag lender for three years and previously served as an ag credit analyst for two years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agri-business from SDSU, along with a minor in accounting.
Originally from Brandon, SD, Mitch is involved with the Sioux Falls Agri-business Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with friends and family at the family cabin in northern Minnesota. Mitch and his wife, Paige have been married for just over two years and currently reside in Sioux Falls, SD.
